The consultation costs from McAlpinePulmonology will be invoiced directly to your insurer if you have private health cover. Please ensure you bring your policy details to your consultation. The costs will be invoiced to you personally after the consultation if you do not have insurance cover.
The investigations costs are hospital charges and are payable to the hospital by your insurer or by you if you are paying personally.

Notes:
- Consultation fees have been agreed with some insurance companies and will be charged in line with these agreements. You will be liable for any uninsured excess on your policy.
- A blood test to assess kidney function is required before CT scans involving intravenous contrast (dye) injection for which there is a separate charge.
- There is a separate charge of £100 from McAlpinePulmonology for analysis and reporting of sleep studies. Not all insurance companies cover this and you might be responsible for paying.
