I arranged an appointment with Dr McAlpine at Ross Hall Hospital because of coughing and other minor symptoms that had troubled me and caused me embarrassment for over a year. A number of treatments had been tried already without any improvement.

I was anxious but Dr McAlpine quickly put me at ease and listened to my story. He examined me thoroughly at the first consultation and measured my lung function. He realised quickly what the problem was and recommended treatment. This worked perfectly and he “signed me off” at the second consultation with a plan to be followed and the offer to see me again if there were any future concerns.

I was self-paying and it was well worth it – just the cost of a nice handbag – and your health is so important!
